Into the 14 's! Week Three!

Another 2 : 5lb off! Very excited to be in the 14st again after mysteriously slipping into the 15's without even noticing! I have had a much harder week than in previous weeks, mainly due to the fact that I have had major sweet cravings! On a couple of days I ate sweets and chocolate all day but still managed to stay withing the calorie allowance - by the skin of my teeth!

I have used my vibration plate (not to be confused with vibration toy ladies ;-D) for ten minutes a day. Not sure how much it helps but it is an experience in its self when all your spare body fat is flung into a shaking frenzy that is a bit pins and needles. Warning! Do not get on the machine with a full bladder as you will be jumping off and dashing to the loo with seconds to spare!

Many of you may know that I have a BSc Degree in Health Science - basically healthy research, health promotion and understanding health behaviors. I specialised in Women and Body Image and my dissertation (research project) was 'A Weight On My Mind - Women and Body Image' - I collected data from over one hundred and twenty women. I am going to fish it out in February and  see if there are any interesting bits to share. The gist of the outcome was that women felt fat regardless of their actual weight!

Love Annie xx

  1. Yay You! I'm so impressed, good for you. The emptying bladder thing made me laugh - I'm like that on the kid's trampoline, but that's having 3 kids naturally for you! ;)

  3. I love those vibration plates as you say very surreal experience. Well done on the weight lose this week see you can diet and still eat chocolate, I tend to by packs of the kids size choc bars as they are normally around the 100 cal mark. If you like white choc then the little milky bars are under 70!!!
Keep up the good work sweetie

  4. Congrats honey you are a little star!!! That shaky plate thing scares the life out of me, there is one in the hippy shop near me, let me know if it works.
When I'm crazy craving chocolate sometimes a muller light with the chocolate sprinkles is enough to take the edge off; mind you other days only a mars bar will do ;0)

  5. Flumps! Secret weapon. You can get them for 10p in Tesco and they are only 29 or such calories. Just that bit of sweetness. Again, well done.

  6. Yippee, a giant vibrating machine, well it beats sitting on top of the washing machine on a spin cycle :0) Not sure whether I would like my flabby bits to be vigorously shaken to within an inch of their lives. I discovered (yesterday) "rosemaryconley.TV", you can register (no money involved at all) and you get access to loads of recipes and health info AND several free exercise videos, a couple of them are a bit naff but it's still exercise none the less :)
